Things to know

  • Google Analytics 4 is replacing Universal Analytics. Which do I have?
  • On July 1, 2023, standard Universal Analytics properties will no longer process data. You'll be able to see your Universal Analytics reports for a period of time after July 1, 2023. However, new data will only flow into Google Analytics 4 properties. Learn more
 Google Analytics 360 properties will receive a one-time processing extension ending on October 1, 2023.

Get started

To use the new Google Analytics, set up a Google Analytics 4 property for your website and/or app. You'll need the Editor role on the Google Analytics account.

Note: If you use Google Analytics for Firebase for your app, follow these instructions to upgrade your Firebase project to a Google Analytics 4 property.
